The England Family Scholarship in Comparative & World Literature Fund was established in 2024, thanks to the generosity of the Terry and Barbara England Foundation, for the purpose of supporting undergraduate scholarships in the Department of Comparative & World Literature at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Awards are given to undergraduate majors in the Department. Recipients shall display financial need. First preference shall be given to students with a concentration in Comparative Literature. Second preference shall be given to students with a concentration in World Literature.
The award may be used for any education-related expenses, including tuition, fees, books, supplies, and room and board. Three or four $1,000 awards may be given in the academic year.
