Biography
Aishi Bhattacharya is a graduate student in the Department of Comparative and World Literature at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her research interests lie in South Asian literary and cultural studies, with a focus on spectacularity, affective empathy, and the representation of gendered violence across texts and media.
